I know I am going to get a rash of negative feedback about this post but I am going to write it anyway. I have to wonder what the world would be like if we took all of the time and energy spent by people on Facebook and spent it on becoming awake and aware and begin trying to solve the worlds problems! It is just plain frightening to see so many people oblivious to what is going on in the world. People are living on Facebook, listening to the nightly news of propaganda every night and reading the trash being put out in news papers. This has become the tale of two worlds. Reality vs fabricated BS. I know everybody loves their FB and the communication with people it provides, but how can we be a bit more responsible with it and use it for the good of mankind rather than just posting what is going on in our own small little worlds?
America is so distracted these days by the internet, social media technology, television, and trying to figure out how to stay afloat in a sinking world. It seems like everybody’s mind is in full swing concentrating on everything but what is going on around them. They know all about the fake news, what is on their friends Facebook pages, what television shows are on when, but they know very little of the truth of what is going on in the world. How can Facebook postings be more important than the fact the Gulf Oil spill is still spewing forth and destroying the life of everyone living down there? How can we not care about our fellow American’s lives being destroyed as well as the Gulf? What? You didn’t know it was still going on? Exactly my point!
I am not putting everybody into a big lump sum, I know some people are more aware and responsible than others and I respect that. I just think it is time for America to think about what it is doing, how it is spending its time and energy, where it is headed and what we can do to turn things around. It seems time to jerk our heads out of the sand and take a look around. I keep an ongoing list of websites on my blog where people can read the REAL news and hopefully awaken. I’m not saying to stop Facebook or tweeting or texting altogether, just back off a bit and use your free time catching up on the truth of what is happening to this country. If we don’t pay attention and begin to make changes who knows where we will all end up.
It is time as we enter into this new world we are creating, to pay close attention to our lives. If you pay attention you know what is going on, you know yourself and you know what direction you need to take your personal life in. You also know where your country is failing and what needs to be done to move it forward. If we don’t care, who will? If we do nothing and do not take a stand how much longer will we be free? We must stand up and make it clearly known that we will not be oppressed any longer. It is our unalienable right to be free to pursue the lives we dream about. Up until now we have not known we were being oppressed, now we do, what are we going to do about it?

Well looks like we have a long way to go in learning how to co create and get along on New Gaia.
I don’t believe I understand some of the hostility I am seeing here,. nor do I feel it is warranted. Not sure why C & C are in attack mode but maybe it is just plain and simply a lack of respect for our host on this blog space. I certainly see how and why there is so much friction in this world in reading those above comments. Sad really….
I also would add that there are many other ways to get ones point across without such rudeness. Not sure why you ladies would not just click off the page if you find it bothers you so. Meow!

Christine’s really wasn’t rude .I mistook Cat’s comment as Christine’s….Whatever happens here, I just hope we can get past the hostility. As I said to Cat in her response, if she doesn’t like my posts don’t read them. It’s real simple. And my question to her would be why leave such a rude comment here and not Lucas’s site where she read my post. Oh yes, and I’m not surprised, I guess, that people were more interested in conjuring some “higher (off world) powers” in doing things for them than in listening to the message that each INDIVIDUAL on this planet is responsible for developing his or her own inner powers that will create the new world. I can’t blame them, though. And you’re the one who brought up the topic, “Why isn’t anyone doing anything?” That’s my message.

I do not / did not dislike your post so please don’t read what isn’t there. I KNOW you don’t channel. I am merely explaining that many of the posts put out by lightworkers / channelers (and several of those who compile these messages and send them out to large lists) have promoted the belief that our space brothers and sisters would help humanity in the physical and all we needed to do are visualization, simultaneous meditations and praying.
I am not incorrect in saying that many messages / posts put on the Internet have been misleading. For example, lightworkers were encouraged to do these guided meditations (where what you were to visualize was given to you), rather than developing their own inner guidance and relationship with their higher self by following through with their inner guidance as THE KEY. This is all I’m saying. I don’t feel there’s anything mean or belittling in my comments. Please reread.

Well, there were a lot of channeled messages pre-Dec 21, 2012 telling people how our space brothers and sisters would help us, if only enough lightworkers would have a mass meditation. As if all we had to do is meditate. And these channelings were picked up by prominent bloggers, further adding to the inaction. I’ve been explaining to my readers for several years now that we need to not only connect with our higher self but also develop this relationship by following through with our inner guidance in the moment such that over time, we fulfill our higher purpose. But not too many bloggers were interested in this message or in adding my blog to their blogroll.

Now you will not be getting negative feed back from me… but I would like to add another perspective.
When I went back to my unused 3 year old facebook account last April it was so I could network and find info for my site.I chose my contacts carefully. Of the over 300 “friends” only around 25 are actually family and friends. Now many of my contacts have 3 to 5 thousand contacts. Some are well known figures in the community. So every time I post something thousands of others see it. When I post the same info on my site maybe only a 100 per day. Some days maybe more.
I also admin on an Ascension page that is set up so one can see how many views on each posts there are. One post I put up about vaccines had over 150 views in only a few hours.
What is happening in the Gulf has been a main topic on those pages also. Also on Truth Feeds, another site I admin on. The sink hole is big news also.
I guess my point is that though facebook has become an cesspool with regards to the fact that the government is monitoring every word, I realized that the whole internet is the same. All of our sites are watched. Make no mistake on that.
Our blogs, as wonderful as they are, do not reach as many as facebook.
Two days ago an old friend dropped by my office so we could talk about some of the things he has read on my fb page. He runs a non profit org for AIDS awareness education for inner city kids. Yep…. no longer a sleeper.
So I am going to use the hell out of facebook while I still can. When it comes time for mobilization…. that will reach way more ears and eyes than handing out leaflets like I did in the 60′s.

That is my point Deb…You are one of the responsible, and it gets things done, but! And that is a huge BUT….Thousands are on there doing nothing to further the state of the world…Much like Dancing with the stars….It becomes a distraction on purpose to pull people away from the truth of what is going on in the world. People need to start paying closer attention to the world. So many haven’t got a clue…. I wrote that post more for the sleepers or those sitting on the fence in hopes they would open their eyes. I understand… and we all are doing what we can to wake the sleeping masses. You and I connect and I get why you do not want to utilize facebook. I also respect your decision to not want to get sucked into that medium.
I think maybe we need to come up with other ways to get out the info that most are unaware of.
So…. what else do you think would help in this endeavor?

It is actually not even about waking people up as the world knows how to balance itself, its more about people WANTING to find constructive ways to help the planet instead of spending so much time doing stuff that isn’t helping. For the record, I understood your point about people spending less time on it to be aware and awake of the greater issues going on.
Yes…I tried to make my point clear that I know there are some who are responsible and awake but I am afraid the many are not….It could be used as such a wonderful tool to aid us in this shifting. In time maybe more will do that….VK
