I wrote the other day in a post about the importance of inspiration as inspiration leads us eventually to hope. I feel like I have to write about it again it is that important for us to connect with it however we can. We all seem to have a moment in life when we meet up with someone who inspires us to be more than we are, and that memory becomes seared within our brains and hearts forever. Why? Because these moments are not coincidental by any means! These moments are meant to be, they are placed before us to change our lives and how we think about ourselves, and when they appear in front of us we have the choice to embrace what they bring to us or to let it pass us by. Most embrace these times and life takes a detour into a magical place where change explodes and alters who we were. Lights flash brightly and bells and whistles go off and we suddenly become new beings.

I had someone ask me once how do you live in your heart. I thought for a minute searching for words that were easy to grasp and understand for someone just beginning the journey. The words wouldn’t come in the form of an explanation of the how to, but the answer came in the form of an idea. To live in your heart aspire to make your life and yourself an inspiration to others in whatever way you can. In order to inspire others you must be doing something meaningful that catches another persons attention, you must obviously be a giving and compassionate soul and be a loving person. Living such a life is living from your heart with the giant plus that now you are also making a positive impact on someone elses life! You can be inspiring by helping others, living not only up to your potential but beyond it, providing hope where hope has been lost, giving others a reason to continue to live their lives.

This is what makes this moment in humanity’s evolving so incredibly rich! We are finally detaching from our own needs in life to reaching out to others and helping them envision a better life and more importantly live it. Slowly we are leaving behind our old perceptions that our lives are all about ourselves and who we become and what we do, what we accomplish, to realizing living life is all about ‘US as a whole’ and what we can do and become together. Feeling good about who we are and what we’ve done will never be as powerful in our hearts as what we feel when we do for others. There is a deep reward in helping others and changing lives, people are always moved deeply by such actions. This is because we are allowing ourselves to finally be who we really are, we are connecting at long last with ourselves. We were enticed off our path and into our own personal wants and needs by the dark ones but deep down we knew this is not who we really were! Finally we are coming home again.

So if you long to live a life that has meaning try becoming the very best you can be by becoming an inspiration to others. When you can change somebody elses life your being lights up within and it radiates out to the rest of the world around you. In today’s world we use the word hero to describe such people and what they do. I don’t care for the word hero. It creates the picture of a person who is automatically looked upon as being better than who we are and nothing could be further from the truth. I prefer the word inspiration because it is something that is attainable by everyone, you are not special, you are just someone who has chosen to make an effort to do the most with the life that you have been gifted with.

From this day forward let it be our choice to become an inspiration to someone who could use the lift up and the nudge to live a better life. If everybody in the world were living life from this perspective imagine what the world would be like! It would be humming with goodness and vibrating with inspiration and exploding with people finding the right path to be going down and the good feelings doing so would bring to them. Give it a try. Isn’t this really what was meant by Gandhi when he said “Be the change you wish to see?”

Blessings to us all,

VK….in-spir[it]ing missive. Allow me to add….the way we most effectively inspire
others is, to simply be an example of having made the change ourselves that
then inspires others to make the change for themselves. I also wonder if “hope”
is not a place where we “hope” what we say/believe is in deed true…kinda like
we’re really not so sure/like we hope it is/will be so.

Hi Will…Hope has always been a very confusing word to me. At times it is all powerful and at others it seems to imply we don’t totally 100% believe if we are having to hope, as you say. Perhaps there is more than meaning of hope? How can it be all powerful in one sentence and creating doubt in another? Strange! And yes, we must always be setting an example….That is how we learn best….. VK

Hi VK: Felt good to read your post today, thank you. Reminded me of my cheerleading days, oh, about 46 years ago now, but it felt good to do it then and it feels good to do it now, though I’m no longer able to do cartwheels or the splitz! But I do remember the cheers! Send it out there, folks, it works! Love ya, B.

    • Visionkeeper says:

Thanks B….Now don’t cash in so quickly! I bet you still got It in ya. Give it a whirl πŸ™‚ You might be surprised. Thanks as always for stopping by. It means a lot! Blessings to you.

  3. I can see a world where everyone inspires someone, VK, in my mind’s eye. I’d love to see it in the physical as well… one day!

Wonderful VK. I truly don’t know how you do it day after day, but I love that you do.

I might have a little technique to help people live more in their hearts, a “how-to” as it were. I got this from one of Bill Ballard’s videos. There are a lot of meditation techniques out there, lots of great ones that help people in so many ways, and this is just one of them. When you are in a meditative state, listening to your thoughts and what I like to call “the river of the mind,” you simply move (physically and psychically) your mind down, down and rest it gently in the heart chakra. I found this remarkably easy to do. I don’t know if this is because I’ve been meditating for years, or because it really is easy. The results are immediate because two things generally happen, your mind becomes instantly quiet and serene, and your heart chakra expands (to make room, so it seems) sometimes with a little fluttery feeling that is very noticeable. If your ego is working overtime it might fight this, and your mind will want to return to its normal place in your head, but over time it gives up the ghost and nestles gently in your heart and stays there.

This meditation is also intended to activate the MerKaBa and it is quite powerful. If you try it and feel moved to do so, share what happens with us!

Thanks Raven….As I’ve often said here I wish I could meditate. I seem to have a mental block against it for whatever reason. Then again I am always alone in the quiet with myself so I suppose I meditate in other ways. Maybe one day I will get the urge and stick with it. Thanks for sharing that technique. As for writing everyday I don’t know how I do it either. I do know as I write I watch and observe sentences as they shoot out onto the keyboard with little thought. Perhaps in some way I channel, who knows. I just know I sit down every morning, look for a picture and then the words come. That’s it….Have a good one! VK

      • Raven says:

You are channeling in a way, it’s coming from your Higher Self, so it’s probably a good thing you don’t read the channelings of others.

I do remember that you don’t meditate, but you can still do this technique by just giving it a whirl when you’re quiet. Being quiet is a meditative state in itself, as you said.

Positively Inspirational Visionkeeper! I saw myself inspiring. I have been on a 3.5 year information/ inspiration mission at Facebook and I have begun receiving feedback from some I have inspired with my sharing and it does feel good. I shared this article on two pages a little while ago and it has already been shared by a friend with multiple networks. It is worthy of viral distribution. Thank you for sharing. Luck, Love and Blessings,
